Chimney Beach – Man's Best Friend Loves It Here
Tahoe locals and their dogs love Chimney Beach! Check out the historical standalone chimney sitting on the shoreline that once served part of an old cabin! Bring your cooler and your towels and walk the shoreline as your dog runs through the water enjoying endless summer fun. Soak it up before joining your furry friend in the refreshing waters of Lake Tahoe. Take your dog for a walk before or after on the Chimney Beach Trail, an easy 2.5 mile out and back trek. This Carson City beach is just a few miles south of Incline Village and is in walking distance to other beaches which is an added bonus!
Sand Harbor Beach – Stunning Views and Rock Jumping
Make a splash jumping off rocks into the beautiful, pristine waters of Sand Harbor! It's by far one of the prettiest and most photographed beaches on the Lake. This family-friendly spot is ideal for paddle boarding, swimming, catching crawdads, and of course climbing and leaping off giant boulders and rocky coves. Picnic under pine and cedar trees and stay for the amazing sunset. This beach has restrooms and watersport rentals nearby and is located just 3 miles south of Incline Village.
Secret Cove Beach – Secretly Nude
Bring your towels and leave your swimsuit at home! Secret Cove is a nude beach! The only thing you need to wear is a lot of sunscreen, your sunnies and a pair of sandals. It's one of the few nude beaches located in Lake Tahoe – that's right, there's more! Just down the road from Chimney Beach, Secret Cove boasts plenty of private spots to soak up the sun and get that full body tan. It's wonderful for swimming and a great place for being carefree this summer.
