Big News: Base-to-Base Gondola Opens December 17th!

It's finally here: the base-to-base gondola connecting two mountains. It's been the talk of local life for decades. Chances are if you have spent any considerable amount of time skiing or riding at Alpine or Palisades Tahoe, you've dreamt of the possibility of accessing both without having to hop on a shuttle. Well, that day has come, friends! Don't miss out on all the fun on Saturday, December 17^th to celebrate the launch of the historic opening of the Base-to-Base Gondola, connecting The Village at Palisades Tahoe to the Alpine Lodge. The gondola is a 16-minute ride across the Sierras offering incredible views of Lake Tahoe.

Here are all the festivities to take part in:

FREE MOUNTAIN TOURS, HOSTED BY THE NORTH FACE MOUNTAIN GUIDE

Familiarized yourself both mountains and join other intermediate or advanced skiers and riders for a complimentary 2-hour tour of the Alpine and Palisades with North Face Mountain Guides. Each guest who participates in this tour will receive a coupon to The North Face store in the Village at Palisades Tahoe for 20% off one item.

FREE MUSIC AND FIREWORKS
