Kid-O-Rama 2020

Kid-O-Rama is back with endless entertainment at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows this February! Get ready for a week-long extravaganza filled with Big Truck Day, carnival games, S'mores parties, Crazy Helmet Day, face painting, and MORE this February 15-22! Create lasting memories with the family while breaking free from cabin fever.

Big Truck Day and Halloween in February

Kid-O-Rama week kicks off with a Kids DJ session, face painting, live music, disco tubing and fireworks! Kids will LOVE Big Truck Day where they'll climb in and out of fire trucks, snowplows, and grooming machines. They even get to wear their favorite costumes while sliding down the slopes on Dress Up Day, think Halloween in February! Have a blast at the Family Fun Race where the winning team takes home a trophy with their family name on it!

Carnival Games & Arts and Crafts 

Enjoy relaxing as a spectator while watching your kids have non-stop fun at the carnivals playing games like ring toss, Mini Bowling, Hula Hoop and Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4! There's even a Juggling Day, Ice Carving event and fire pits set up for roasting S'mores where parents can enjoy a après drink in hand. The Kids Craft & Game Room is open each day and full of puzzles, games, and art supplies to grab to keep the kiddos entertained. There's even a popcorn machine and bean bags for them to relax on.

Grommet Rail Clinics and Competitions

The last day is jam packed with Crazy Hat & Helmet Day, Oakley Grom Jam, balloon artists and face painting, CLIF Bar Mountain Day, disco tubing and fireworks! Kids 6-12 yrs old compete against each other in the Oakley Grom Jam, a mini-terrain park competition featuring a jump and rail line. There's even a rail clinic for kids wanting to learn new skills at the Belmont Terrain Park!

Squaw Valley has epic children's ski and ride programs, and Kid-O-Rama week is a great time to check them out! Squaw Kids and Alpine Kids offer full-day lessons for young skiers and snowboarders ages 3-13 yrs. Telemark is even available. Take advantage of Grommets Snowboard Lessons and Explorers Ski Lessons geared for ages 5-7.  These lessons are limited to 5 kids or less giving your child the attention and confidence they crave on the slopes. It's a great way for you to take time out for yourself while your child is learning tips and tricks from fun instructors.
