Oktoberfest at Squaw Valley: Drink In The Autumn Season!
Posted by: Palisades Tahoe Lodge
This time of year at Lake Tahoe seems to sneak up on us. We're in the thick of summer and all its glorious events, and in one fell swoop summer suddenly collapses in fall. With the crisp, cooling temperatures and leaves rapidly changing colors, it's time to ring in the season with Oktoberfest at Squaw Valley on September 27, 2014! Taking down a large stein of beer will get you ready for those long winter nights of cozying up by the fire after an epic powder day on the slopes. Sure winter is on the horizon, but let's be sure to enjoy fall first!
What to expect at Squaw's Oktoberfest? All the standard greats: Traditional Bavarian music and folk dances, Benefit Beer Garten, Brats & Kraut, and games from 2-6pm. Your $10 admission includes a specialty glass and first beer (choose wisely). After that it's only $5 for additional beers in your stein!
Don't worry, wine is also available if you're not a beer lover. (We'll forgive you for that one at Oktoberfest.)
