Celebrate an Unforgettable Lake Tahoe 4th of July
Considered by many to be among the nation's best Independence Day destinations, nothing compares to the magic of watching fireworks shimmer off America's largest alpine lake in the cool mountain evening air. Each year, over 100,000 people from around the world line our shores for the Fourth of July at Lake Tahoe, with festivals and parties circling the water as far as the eye can see.
The 70th Annual Tahoe City 4th of July Celebration
Commons Beach
11am-10pm
This local tradition promises to be at its biggest and best this year, highlighted by an all-day street fair and Holiday Beach Bash, just 8 miles from our Squaw Valley resort. The 70th annual Tahoe City party has a 1970's, bell-bottom theme, so be sure to get festive and dress in the spirit. An array of food vendors will be onsite, but picnics are also encouraged – because what's better than spreading a blanket in the sand on a warm summer day? In addition to fireworks over the water at nightfall, the day brings music to the street from DJ Chapin, performances by Penney the Clown, contests, a dunk tank, climbing wall, corn hole, and more.
The 2015 July 3rd Fireworks & Beach Party
