It's spring and although we've had an incredible winter season with tons of snow, it's that time of year when we shift gears a bit looking toward longer days, warmer temperatures, the sprouting of wildflowers, and fun spring hiking. Mark your calendars and come celebrate all things local at the Made in Tahoe Festival with us on May 27 and 28! Get inspired by chefs, artisans and entertainers showcasing their talents on three different stages at The Village at Palisades Tahoe! Admission is FREE and the mountain backdrop is one-of-a-kind.
Live Music, Dance Workshops & Local Eats
There's something for everyone with interactive workshops, dance games for kids and live music from 11am-5pm all weekend! The latest choreography from the Truckee Dance Factory and Tahoe Flow Arts will capture your attention and have you signing up for a class! You'll also have a chance to fill up on local food and beer made in the heart of the Lake Tahoe Basin by your favorite local vendors. All proceeds from the Made in Tahoe bar benefit Tahoe Food Hub, a local organization that operates as a food and education resource to help community members access food. Tahoe Food Hub aims to get local farmers fair pricing while keeping food accessible and affordable for the local community.
Crafty Artists and Mountain Sports Gear
Artists living and breathing the mountain life will be displaying their jewelry, pottery, body art, photography, clothing and more for you to take home! Find plenty of gear to check out including longboards and skis to something for your pup. If you see Tahoe as your playground or just love the beauty of the Sierras, you'll want to be at this festival!
