Mountain of Strings

Get ready for a hopping night of bluegrass tunes and Lake Tahoe fun live from the Squaw Valley Ski Resort. Mountain of Strings on Sunday, April 28, 2013 brings the best string bands and players from across the US onto one stage to lay down great bluegrass sounds from 4-9pm. The superb lineup includes the Yonder Mountain String Band serving up progressive bluegrass, classic bluegrass from The Del McCoury Band led by one of the most respected bluegrass musicians and singers in the country, and a not-to-be-missed set from banjo and slide guitar genius Tony Furtado.

If you love bluegrass, this is the place to be. If you don't, then this is the live music event that will make you a fan. Tickets are only $40 in advance and $45 at the door. For extra perks, the $65 VIP ticket will get you into the private area with free appetizers, you'll receive a limited edition Mountain of Strings poster, and also have access to the after-party.
