Blaze down the slopes in the World's Largest New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade at Palisades Tahoe on December 31, 2022! Skiers and snowboarders take to the mountain with colorful LED torches making it look like a moving chain of fire! It's an annual New Year's Eve party beloved by locals and visitors alike!
The event is FREE and super family friendly. Ages 5 and up can participate, but need to be an intermediate skier or snowboarder. LED torches will be given out at the Exhibition chairlift but only to guests with wristbands for their registered time slot, so jump online now and reserve your place in advance. Then head to the Palisades Tahoe Ticket Office to collect your wristband before the event. The Parade begins at 5pm with 15-minute time slots taking off until 6:30pm. The time slots are 5pm, 5:15pm, 5:30pm, 5:45pm, 6pm, and 6:15pm. Participants will only be allowed to ride the Exhibition chairlift during their assigned time slot.

The New Year's Eve festivities heat up after the parade with a fireworks show and rock concert from 5pm to 7pm on the KT Deck. Grab a drink at the bar while listening to live music from The Nomads. The Nomads perform vintage rock n' roll covers by Led Zeppelin, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Heart, Rolling Stones, Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, Scorpions, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Blondie and more!
