Squaw Valley Lodge Skiing & Snowboarding
Posted by: Palisades Tahoe Lodge
Ski Squaw! The ultimate destination for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts alike, Squaw Valley in North Lake Tahoe, California was the site of the Winter Olympic Games in 1960 and a must-ski on any snow lover's list of slopes to hit. The Squaw Valley Lodge provides a legendary spot for skiing with 33 ski lifts that travel 2,850 vertical feet of North Lake Tahoe slopes. If skiing all day isn't enough, you can even hit the slopes at night. The 3.2 mile Mountain Run, and the Riviera half pipe, are lit by a special floodlight system for night owls.
In addition to the legendary Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe offers a host of exceptional ski resorts. Alpine Meadows, Heavenly Valley, Kirkwood, and Northstar are just a short distance from the Squaw Valley lodge.
