One of the biggest events to hit North Lake Tahoe this year kicks off on February 24! Don't miss the Stifle Palisades Tahoe World Cup at Palisades Tahoe, February 24-26, 2023. There are only four U.S. ski resorts featured on the Audi FIS Ski World Cup this year, and Palisades Tahoe has the honor of hosting men's slalom and giant slalom events on Dog Leg and Red Dog Face.
This three-day event will be packed full of opportunities to cheer on the world's best athletes, lots of action from the base area, outdoor concerts, fireworks and more! With over 40 inches of snow in late February at Palisades Tahoe it's a fantastic time to get in some turns while you're visiting, but keep in mind Red Dog is closed to the public February 25 to 26, and Far East is closed until 1:30PM on February 26 for Slalom.
