Twilight Snowshoe Tour at North Lake Tahoe
Posted by: Palisades Tahoe Lodge
There is nothing like the mountains at sunset. The alpen glow is enchanting. One of the most beautiful and invigorating things about Lake Tahoe in the winter time is a chilly night under the stars. On a clear night – oh the stars! They light up the sky.
Though skiing and snowboarding are such fun at Squaw Alpine, why not try something new like snowshoeing? Twilight Snowshoe Tours are going on this winter at Northstar Resort, where you'll enjoy a guided evening tour under the stars and through Sierra Nevada trees at mountain top. The 2 to 2.5 hour trek starts out at the Cross Country, Telemark and Snowshoe Center at 5pm, and caps off the evening around a fire pit with s'mores and hot cocoa. How about an adventure for the whole family before you have to tuck the kiddos in for the night?
