Winter Returns to Tahoe!
Posted by: Palisades Tahoe Lodge
Nothing gives us greater joy during winter than to receive a huge storm in the Sierras, and nature delivered this week with a massive system that dumped approximately four feet of snow at Palisades Tahoe. As of Tuesday, December 14, 2021 it is still snowing in the Tahoe basin. A small break is on the horizon and then another storm rolls in Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning. The overall season snow accumulation is 113", which is double the snowfall we had on the same day last year!
Even better news is that weather forecasts call for bluebird days this Friday to Saturday. It's a great chance to get some powder turns before the Christmas holiday. Maybe you have your sights set on extending that holiday getaway you already booked earlier this year? We still have availability!
