One of the beloved family-friendly holiday events in Olympic Valley, Magical Memories, returns Friday, November 25 to kick off the festive season. Magical Memories also includes a fireworks show – you don’t want to miss this fun event of light and joy!
Magical Memories’ schedule of activities includes:
- Horse-drawn sleigh rides at 3PM
- Photo opportunities with Santa in the Resort at Squaw Creek Lobby at 4PM
- Professional ice-skating performance at 6PM
- Guests officially welcome Santa as he arrives by fire truck at 6:45PM
- Grand tree lighting ceremony at 6:45PM
- Live music and additional photo opportunities with Santa in the lobby at 7PM
Magical Memories is open to the public, and available based on a recommended donation to the Wa She Shu Foundation, an organization dedicated to identifying the very unique needs of Washoe Tribal members through non-profit ventures such as higher education scholarships, youth athletic scholarships to promote wellness, and more.
Attendees should RSVP to receive their free eMobile ticket through Eventbrite, where they can reserve their spot and make a contribution to the organization. Attendees will receive complimentary parking for the resort’s self-parking lot.
Following the Magical Memories kick-off, the resort will host an array of holiday activities throughout the season including free ice skating for locals, “Breakfast with Santa” events at Cascades restaurant and an oversized Gingerbread Village display.
