We are a ski-in, ski-out four-season condo property, with Individually owned condominiums right on the slopes of Palisades Tahoe. It’s a great location for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer. We are also centrally located near restaurants, shopping, and attractions around Lake Tahoe and the Palisades Tahoe Village.

The check-in time at Palisades Tahoe Lodge is 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am.

You can book your stay at Palisades Tahoe Lodge using a credit card or debit card, but we do not accept checks.

Our guests get exclusive rental discounts at the Inn Shop for both skis and snowboards. The Inn Shop is a two-minute walk from Palisades Tahoe Lodge.

There are many summer activities at Palisades Tahoe Lodge, that are fun for the whole family. The HOA amenity swimming pool is at the top of the list for kids of all ages. Our resort provides easy access to Lake Tahoe beaches and water sports, including paddle boarding, kayaking, water skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, and fishing. Guests can also enjoy biking (road and mountain biking), hiking, and shopping in the vicinity. Ride the Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram and tee off on picturesque golf courses.

Skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at both Palisades Tahoe at both the Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows locations.

We will not know prior to your arrival date when your room will be ready. Please give our Front Desk a call on the day of your arrival at Palisades Tahoe Lodge, so we can give you a better estimate of when the room will be ready. All rooms are ready by 4 pm. However, should you arrive earlier and the room is not ready, we are happy to give you access to our parking and property amenities.

Late check-outs can only be honored on the day of your check-out. Please call the Front Desk by choosing option 0 or dialing (530)583-5500 extension 0. Typically, late check-outs are only for an hour or two and later check-outs can incur an hourly charge. Unapproved late check-outs will also incur an hourly charge.

At Palisades Tahoe Lodge, we offer trip insurance through Red Sky Travel to cover your needs for a cancellation. You may add it to your reservation anytime between making your reservation and your final deposit. The High Camp presents one of the most unforgettable experiences at Palisades Tahoe. The Aerial Tram is the most popular way of getting there. The eight-minute ride takes passengers over majestic granite rock formations and offers captivating views of the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe. If you wish to take a more adventurous route to the High Camp, then you can enjoy a hike along the 3.2-mile Thunder Mountain Trail.

The Shirley Canyon trail is one of Lake Tahoe’s best hikes, ascending more than 2,000 feet. The distance is 3 miles to Shirley Lake and another 2 miles to High Camp. It is a challenging hike that takes at least 3 hours round trip.

The skiing paradise of Tahoe is incomplete without the mention of its scenic valley. Palisades Tahoe has a base elevation of 6,200 ft, while the peak has the highest altitude of 9,050 ft.
