Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals Terms and Conditions

Standard Reservations

Payments
• A deposit of 50 percent of total reservation charges is due at booking.
• Full payment is due 14 days before arrival and will be charged automatically.
• Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require payment in full at booking.

Cancellations
• Reservations canceled 14 days or more before check-in receive a full refund.
• Cancellations 13 to 7 days before check-in receive a 50 percent refund of rent.
• Cancellations less than 7 days before arrival are non-refundable.
• Cleaning fees and Damage Waivers are refundable on all cancellations.
• Changing dates or shortening stays is not allowed after final payment is made.
• There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.
• Cancellation cutoff time is 3:00 PM on the applicable deadline date.

Holiday Reservations

*Holiday Policy applies to arrivals between December 19th and Jan 3rd. This can also be updated under Holiday Reservations for January 3, 2026 and update to January 2, 2027 for the following year

Holiday Periods
• December 19, 2025 through January 7, 2026
• December 18, 2026 through January 8, 2027

Payments

Cancellations
• Reservations canceled 30 days or more before check-in receive a full refund.
• Cancellations 29 to 7 days before check-in receive a 50 percent refund of rent.
• Cancellations 6 days or fewer before arrival are non-refundable.
• Cleaning fees and Damage Waivers are refundable on all cancellations.
• Changing dates or shortening stays is not allowed after final payment is made.
• There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.
• Cancellation cutoff time is 3:00 PM on the applicable deadline date.

Trip Insurance

We strongly encourage guests to protect their stay by purchasing Red Sky Trip Insurance.
• Optional at booking or anytime before the cancellation window closes.
• Non-refundable 14 days after purchase.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-In
• Check-in time is 4:00 PM or later.
• Keys are provided by the Palisades Tahoe Lodge HOA Front Desk (open 24 hours).
• Keys will not be issued without a signed Vacation Rental Guest Agreement or if a balance is due.
• Early check-in is not guaranteed.  If available before 2pm the charge is $50 plus tax.

Check-Out
• Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
• Late check-outs must be requested the morning of departure and are approved at the discretion of Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals Guest Relations Team based on arrivals the charge is $50 plus tax.  Departures later than 1pm are considered a stayover and charged the nightly rate plus tax. 

Guest Requirements

Age Requirement
• Guests must be 18 or older to register.
• Reservations made under false pretenses will result in loss of payments and removal from the property.

Maximum Occupancy
• Maximum occupancy is 2 adults per bedroom plus 2 additional guests, up to 12 total.
• Children under 12 are exempt from the occupancy count.
• Exceeding occupancy or hosting large gatherings, parties, or events is prohibited and may result in fees or eviction.

Quiet Hours
• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Daily

Damage, Theft, and Cleaning

Guest Responsibility
• Guests are liable under California law for any damages, theft, vandalism, or excessive cleaning.
• Report any existing damage immediately upon arrival to Reservations@gpeak.com

Damage Waiver
• A non-refundable Damage Waiver has been charged at booking, covering up to $1,000 of accidental damage if reported before check-out.
• Does not cover intentional damage.
• Damages exceeding $1,000 will be charged to the card on file or collected through third-party platforms.

Cleaning
• Standard departure cleaning is included.
• Excessive cleaning will be charged at $77 per hour.

Parking

  • Most units include one parking pass.
    • Lofts, Two Bedroom, and Three Bedroom units receive two parking passes.
    • Vehicles over 90 inches in height cannot be accommodated.

Pets

  • No pets are permitted in rental units or on property.
    • Unauthorized pets, including visitor pets, result in a fine up to $1,000, immediate eviction, and loss of all payments.

Lost and Left-Behind Items

  • Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals is not responsible for items left behind.
    • Items found will be stored for two weeks before disposal or donation.

 

Smoking

  • Smoking is prohibited in all units and common areas except designated outdoor areas.
    • Violations result in a minimum $1,000 fee and immediate eviction.

Internet and Utilities

  • Mountain internet and power can experience outages during storms.
    • No refunds are provided for slow internet, outages, or cell service issues.
    • Units include a landline for local calls, only.

HOA Rules and Construction

  • Guests must follow all HOA rules and regulations.
    • Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals does not manage or control HOA amenities, maintenance, or construction, and does not issue refunds for related impacts.

Construction and Noise
• We are not responsible for disturbances caused by nearby construction, events, or other external factors.

Rental Reassignment

If a reserved unit becomes unavailable or uninhabitable:
• Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals may reassign the reservation to a comparable or better unit, or offer a full refund.
