Snow bound

This is a beautiful ski in /out property. Lots of updates, space is well utilized. Kitchens are perfect for meals after a day of skiing. The view from all very well placed and property is clean. Many things to do if you get snowedin rain out wind high wind speeds.Wind in this area will keep you from skiing as the lifts to ski valley close during high gusts. However they have a great sauna, outdoor heated pool and large outdoor hot tub. Lots of shopping in plaza area and special services such as massage and facials etc. Pizza delivery in area. I reccomend bringing a good stock of groceries with you as there is very little close. Kitchen is stocked for most cooking needs.Parking under building is nice for snow days. Rental for all needs on site. This is by far one of my favorite ski in/out locations.

Squaw Valley Lodge

We love Squaw Valley Lodge - the only place we stay when we ski. The location can't be beat. Next to the village for shopping and dining. We love having a kitchen for breakfast and a lunch break when skiing. Super convenient! We park and don't get back in the car until we leave. Love the outdoor jacuzzis, so nice after a day of skiing, and the steam sauna. Very friendly staff, nice big rooms, great family resort! I highly recommend it!

Great accommodations and courteous staff.

Couldn't be happier with our stay at squaw valley lodge. The facility is well maintained, has a fabulous location, and the staff has always been eager to help meet all of our needs.

Great Ski stay destination!

Located right at the edge of Squaw Valley village and resort, you can ski to your room (almost) and its an easy walk to the delightful restaurants in the village. The lodge is very nice and well maintained. They have several hot tubs to ease away the after ski burn, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I don't know why you'd stay anywhere else if you're skiing Squaw
