Fabulous location....only feet from the lifts!!!!! Nice accommodations overall. While the decor may be slightly dated, the bed was very comfortable. Unit was very clean with ample towels, kitchen accessories etc. Covered parking is great...especially at Squaw Valley where huge snow dumps are quite regular.....staff at the location are very professional and accommodating

Originally had booked 4 nights at SilverCreek Campground about a mile towardTruckee. After one night we realizedthat the proximity of SCC to Hwy 89 issimilar to a rest stop on Hwy 5. The "we're in nature connection" broken.I threatened divorce, but since we'renot married she quick as a whiz bookedthe rest of the vacation at Squaw ValleyLodge on her iphone before i even gotout of the tent. Wow! Hate to sharethis, but the rates and lack of populationat this fine resort boggle. Best remaining3 days of vacation of my life. Go aheadand ride your bike to great fishing on theTruckee river. Hike up to High Camp andpay only $15 for the pool/hot tub near the barthen take the tram down for free. Hang outin the Village and have real food at Soupasbefore you get pleasantly prepared for thefree concert. Or, have a miserable time becausethings didn't go your way. Hey, it happens. Thank you Squaw Valley Lodge! You saved my vacation.vacation.

We booked this hotel on Priceline for $145 + Tax + $18 resort fee. The cheapest online price I could find was $280. This is a high class hotel. We stayed only one night, July 4th, to see the fireworks in Tahoe City. However, there are very nice facilities that we did not have time to enjoy. Admittedly, the price is higher than we normally spend for lodging, but for this level of service we felt the price was reasonable. I did find the $18 resort fee a bit of a shock, so beware of that before you book. Especially if you book on Hotwire or Priceline.

We had a great time staying at Squaw valley Lodge for the first week of April. The condo was well furnished all the way through and was kept very clean by the housekeepers. The ability to ski in and out was fantastic, as I normally hate walking in ski boots ! My only slight nitpicks were that the televisions were dated with poor picture quality and the shower nozzles were not great but they were only minor niggles. We are a family of 5 and the Murphy bed and sofa bed were most comfortable according to my kids. Our bedroom was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
