Brilliant,so spacious.

We loved this place. We had a loft room which was absolutely massive. We are a family of 4 and the room had 4 double beds, with 2 fantastic bathrooms and views of the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with free coffee each day. The gym was well equipped and the pool area was good, although the location of it meant it was in the shade early afternoon. The only thing the hotel lacked was a bar!It is well located for the village centre and for the cable car (I recommend a trip to the top. the views over Lake Tahoe are stunning) I would highly recommend a stay here and would love to come back in the winter.

Great Price for Ski In/Ski Out

Really enjoyed staying at the Squaw Valley Lodge. We rented a Deluxe Studio. We slept 4 in there with no problem. Got a better rate through the Squaw Valley Lodge internet site than over their phone reservation system. Liked the outdoor hot tubs, although they close them at 10p. Had a great massage at their facility midway through the week. Easy access to lifts and the Squaw village.

Love the convenience

We love this hotel for it's convenience to the slopes! Literally ski in/ski out. We stayed in unit #355 which is an extended loft. A studio room on the first floor with a small kitchen, bed slightly sectioned off, and the living room and one bathroom. Upstairs is another bedroom with a bath in an open loft (so you can really hear everything going on downstairs). We payed $250/night for Sunday - Thursday. Downside is it's a little worn. Bed linens had holes in them. The mattresses are pretty soft and uncomfortable. No mugs for coffee. Screens worn out and windows don't latch all the way. Nothing fancy but nice enough. Our in-laws and parents watch our kids while we ski (lucky us!) so the ease of being able to check up and see how things are going is important to us.They have huge whirlpools outside (2 of them) and a dry sauna and wet steamroom. Nice extras! Close to restaurants. We never got in our cars. Love that!

Great experience!

We're staying for 4 days, 3 nights and our experience can't be better. The kitchen is clean and well equiped with all the utensils and appliances. We have a view of the ski slopes just outside of our bedroom and livingroom windows, and the lifts are just a few steps away. Ask for Building 1 or 3 if you ant to be right next to the slopes (our unit is 341). The front desk and guest service personnel are young, but very friendly and eager to assist. We arrived too early for check-in as the room wasn't yet ready, so we went skiing using their lockers as temporary storage and change room. When we returned, they had upgraded us to a one-bedroom unit (from a studio). Soaking in their large outdoor jaccuzis in the snow (there are two outdoors and three indoors)is just the ticket after a day's skiiing. This is the second year we've stayed here, and we're sure to come back again.
