I have travelled to a number of ski resorts in America and this is by far the worst".......On our first night the sheets were stained. I approached Travis (front office supervisor) the next morning to have these changed - no apology.......Pro's - locationCon's - our room is like stepping back into the 80's - don't expect your room to be cleaned before 4pm or cleaned whatsoever- staff most unhelpful & unprofessional ( chewing gum whilst trying not to assist)- we have a mountain view studio, which is very noisy at night due to snow making- would only want to stay on 3rd floor as very noisy through the floors.My recommendation would be to stay at VIllage at Squaw or Plumpjack inn (also within the village) - whilst I have never stayed at either they at least look more modern.

The pictures do not match the reality. They offered me a newly renovated condo with separate rooms and they gave me a single space studio. The master bed was one of those you pull from the wall. We did not expected that. And the kids had to sleep on the coach, because the pull out bed was really uncomfortable. I was expecting to have a nice view to the village or mountain. There was not of that. It was a second floor looking at the back of the building. No locker for the skies. No playroom for the kids. The building was under construction, so the ground floor was just panels. The only facility was two hot tubs, but there was not even a place to get change. Really disappointing.

Writing this review at 2 am because I have been up all night with no air conditioner. Room is warm and no circulation. Not something they tell you when you check in. Dated. Stairs smelled like cat pee. Not a whole lot of insulation between floors. Heard solid loud footsteps above us for a while. Luckily they were not partying all night. Can understand how great the location would be in the winter due to gondola location but not a place for the summer. This place missed the mark significantly. Furniture and interior are dated. Had to put a blanket on the couch before we sat on it.

The room was run down, old and dirty. The carpet and the couch had accumulated dirt and smell over the years. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the cot bed pulls out from the sofa was a joke. My son couldn't stop talking about how uncomfortable it was. He still has a back ache from our 3 night stay. It was also making a loud noise every time he moved. It was horrible! The girl cleaning the room was careless. She did a very sloppy job. We were about to leave the room one morning when she was working the room. She actually used a white face towel from the bathroom to clean the kitchen floor. She wrapped the towel around the broom to wipe the floor. I was so disgusted. Equipment rental and other activities were great and met our expectations, but the room was horrible. I will not stay at the lodge again and I will not recommend it to anyone!
